Pastoral care programmes are provided by homeroom teachers to support students with their organization skills; discuss emergent issues and support personal and character development.
JWA has full access to two highly experienced counselors, both spend one day a month on campus at JWA.
They work closely with teachers, administrators and other support services to support the social, emotional and academic needs of students.
Our counselors provide assistance at a variety of levels, from supporting teachers in the classroom manage social and behavioral issues, development of preventative programmes as well as our popular series of regular parent workshops.
The goal of counseling services across the school is to promote personal well-being, healthy relationships and the successful balance between academic and extracurricular involvement for our students.
